Despite some flaws (primarily that if feels as if they left out a lot of what was originally planned) this is by far my favorit RPG in many years. There isn't a lot of actual roleplaying to be done but the story is fine, the world feels huge, mysterious and lived in and the fully animated party banter is great. The big selling point is the tactical combat combined with the well balanced caracter development. The classes are well balanced (just bring one cleric and basically any composition should work fine) and almost every combat is well designed and feels unique and exiting. Highly recommended.
If you want to replay the main campaign and would like to support the developers get this, the updates to the main game are great and the Druid is fun to play. Of course the price (9$) is oddly high for just a few new features and that the amazing main game is currently available for just 13$
The first half of this expansion is great, with intersting battles and a cool new setting of warring factions in the name giving lost valley. Sadly the later part is a mess with a lot of bugs (including major stuff like a ending screen that does not reflect what you actually did in the game), a rushed story and boring battles. But still a recommendation if you loved the main campaign as much as I did.
I really love the base game and played through it multiple times, but this expamsion feels more like work than anything else. I starts out pretty amazing though, the first mayor combat was very exiting, but afterwards you spend most of your time walking around (alot!) and fighting uninspired battles. The story is also confusing. And even the new character levels do not add any exitment or new tactics. Would not recomend.
