Got this game hoping for a Diabloesque experience, it really didn't feel similar in any way. The way the whole world is chopped together, the main quest didn't catch me at all, the sidequests seem to put made just to be there, character design is mediocre at best, filled with randomness. I admit that I'm not that much of a patient guy, I just rambled around in the game for about four hours, however the general impression was that it was lacking the things that made hack'n slash games worth playing - well-designed characters/gear and an epic storyline.
This game reminds me of the old kind of multiplayer gaming, when we didn't have a home internet connection and used to gather up in all-night DM sessions in a internet-cafe nearby. The fast pace, diversity of weapons and shitload of great maps and mods make it one of the best first person shooters out there.
