Generally I like it, but when in some part of the campaign an enemy recon unit (movement up to 8) travels in one turn over 15 fields, thr. two rivers and gets 3 villages (two stops need even more movement points), it kills my wish to continue playing.
This is an amazing game for lovers of "Panzer General II" type games! Compared with "Open General", the graphics is much better, and not only. About the realism, as someone complained here. It is about max playability, not about max realism. If someone wants max realism, try something like the old "D-Day: America Invades" of Atomic Games and soon you will see how more tedious it is. And it is not so unrealistic about the cavalry in 1939-40. It seems most people don't know that cavalry in WWII doesn't attack on horses. People used horses only as transport and attacked/defended on foot, as regular infantry. You can look at WWII cavalry being a fast infantry.
