I have read about this game in a gaming magazine in 90s and I was hooked by the atmosphere, story, historical background and music. I am glad that it is available again.
As a fan of Battletech tabletop game and MechWarrior series, this was a must-buy for me. The game provides suitable tactical experience, equipment management and enjoable single-player story. The graphics and controls are ok, just took me a bit of time to find out about weapon/melee fight selection, so I alpha-striked quite a lot during the first mission. On the low side, there were quite a lot of loading screens - before each mission story and before the mission itself, which I found a bit annoying and sometimes I had trouble to spot the enemies, but all-in-all the game was well-worth the buy and I hope to try multiplayer, as well.
