I'm a sucker for any subway-related games and this one filled the bill. The graphics are fine and the gameplay is absorbing. I look forward to many hours of enjoyable gameplay. Although this is my first entry in the series, it holds enough interest to keep me from getting bored.
I'm thrilled that Gog has made this game available for x64 systems. I played Caesar III years ago and still have the original disc and manual. My main problem with the game was fire. It seemed that whenever I built the ideal city fire would break out and burn down my houses. Keeping the gods happy wasn't much of a problem as I built plenty of temples. The manual is filled with helpful tips and strategies and is indispensable for anyone serious about constructing a successful city. Being able to focus on building without worrying about warfare is one of the biggest plusses. This is a game that deserves a major comeback. Aside from being fun, it teaches about history.
