Even now, after multiple playthroughs, I want to reinstall it and play again. Lovely design, crazy gameplay and story, just the right level of challenge.
One of the best games ever. Great gameplay, deep tech tree, many factions to choose from, there's just so much to love here. If you have any love at all for the 4X turn based strategy genre, then you've already played this game, but on the off chance you haven't then get this and play it as soon as possible...you won't be sorry you did.
I loved this game, and still have my original copy, which I install and play every few years. Insanely funny, crazy over the top action, and Kabuto! It's almost impossible to pin down the best part, but one thing that stands out is the quick movement ability of the Siren...a nearly effortless sensation of speed and agility...it's just about the most entertaining travel power out there.
This game is one of my all time favorites. It was an early showcase for 3D accelrated graphics, and was just about the most perfect action game up to that point. I'm avoiding buying games from GOG that I've already played in the past, but this one is a huge temptation. It's just so much fun!
Stonekeep is a great game, but it's probably one of the most complicated and difficult games to play successfully. This isn't one of your hand-holding, namby-pamby, wussy games...Stonekeep is brutal and unforgiving, with puzzles that don't simply lead you down that path to insanity...they drag you kicking and screming to the edge, then toss you over. Definitely a case where you absolutely want to get the Stonekeep Strategy Guide.
Well, Redneck Rampage is a great game, but GoG has done us all a disservice. Instead of actually making this a real port to a modern OS, they simply grabbed a copy of DosBOX, changed the config file, and called it a day. If you already own a copy of Redneck Rampage, you don't need to buy this, since it won't work any better than getting DosBOX and setting it up yourself. I was really angry when I boght this and foundthat it was just like what I already had (except their version locks up on my system.)
