This is such a beautifully drawn game. It's a two dimensional adventure story with some tactical combat elements and some RPG like qualities, but really a pleasure to play through. The combat is not complicated. There is a little bit of crafting and a very little bit of leveling (only the main character has some limited stats improvement), but you do get a lot of options on team building and equipment. Gameplay is easy to pick up and on the light side, but would recommend for the art and storyline.
