but clunky to get it through. It's easy to get stuck on puzzles that are not fault of the player, like "Follow the sound" when there is no sound to follow. Instead of discouraging others trying it with long list of other problems, there's actually a type of audience I recommend this game for: other game developers. Write down all the small annoying things you'd do differently, but also all the positive things you find interesting. I promise you'll learn at least ten things what to do and what not to do, probably being better investment of your time for making a successful, actually playable and enjoyable game, than learning something niche and cool from YouTube tutorials. TLDR here is as you may guess, good graphics does not make a game good. Having enough test players and listening their feedback is the key.
If the title says "Complete Bundle", I expect it to have everything in one shopping round. That's the point of it existing, right? I then made another search if I missed a deluxe edition or something, and found "Soundtrack Bundle" which I'm probably supposed to complement this supposedly already complete collection with. Well guess what. It involves part 1 and part 2, but not part 3?? C'mon Blue Brain Games, seriously. Shopping mazes are not fun.
Puzzles are on easy-medium scale. Reasonably priced. Audio and graphics are pretty good, it's not obvious from dark screenshots. No major bugs encountered. Minor issues: - Jumpscares are well placed, but devs please don't rip my ears apart. - Hotspots are small to hit on gamepad (Xbox controller is mostly supported, just not on menus and button icons). Zooming helps but mostly it should not be necessary. - Story could have been more involving, the guy on the phone is mostly absent. The ending was not expected, but underwhelming. This does not need a sequel, but overall, I was not disappointed. Better than many other indie horror games I've played.
For Windows 10 builds earlier than 20H2 I needed this one whitelisting change to get it run (applies to both retail and GOG version): Start -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Security Virus & threat protection -> App & browser control -> Exploit protection Program settings -> Add "trl.exe" (or absolute path to it) Override and disable "Data Execution Prevention (DEP)" Bonus tip: If it's crashing mid-game, try disabling Next Generation Content from game settings.
