Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition

unplayable microstutter for 8 years now

everytime i try to play this game i encounter constant game breaking mirco stutter that makes it unplayable. i have tried now on a vairous computers ranging from a ryzen 2700x , a ryzen 3800x & a ryzen 5800x on both a gtx1080 ti and a rtx 3090 with ram ranging from 32 GB to 64 Gb on various ssds , most recently a 905p Optane NVME SSD and it still lags to the point of being unplayable. I have tried every single tip and trick listed online in addition to hours of troubleshooting on my own. This game was never properly coded to work on anything other than a console. after trying off and on for nearly a decade im finally giving up. This game is broken, go play another co-op zombie game. one that works.

Total Annihilation: Kingdoms + Iron Plague

TA but a bit crap

TA-K fails the test of time due to the poor gen 1 3d graphics engine that looks bad when not pair with blocky robot as with TA. The unit choice & depth is lacking compared to TA. the music felt generic and souless, the skirmish map choices were few and small compared to TA map, the skirmish AI is 1 step above and AFK player and time has not been time to this title as it took me ( an IT professional) about 30 minutes of tinkering with my system configuration to get the game to not crash on launch ( i recommend turning off but 1 monitor and lowering your windows resolution below 4K in addition to running the game in windows 98/ME compatibility. ) This title's failure in the 90's was responsible for the death of cavedog entertainment and sadly has only goten worse with age. i recommend going to play TA or age of mytholgy, youll have a much beter time.

Abandon Ship

unable to progress

an interesting looking game that i was looking forward to trying. I played the tutorial and was enjoying what it had to ffer. that was until i encountered a game breaking bug where the screen simply fades to black after existing the tutorial area. my internet searching indicates this bug has been around for over 3 years and the workarounds listed online failed to resolve the issue. an game where you cant even exist the tutorial due to game breaking bugs that have not been patched out after 3 years is a hard pass for me. shame, it seems so interesting......................

Tropico 6

worst tropico yet! Unplayably buggy!

i have played to a lesser or great extent everything single tropico game released to date and i will say that tropico 6 is by far the buggiest one yet with Disappearing resources, sold resources not being correctly atributed to a trade agreement, braindead AI, buggy logging camps that dont detect new resources when moved, teamester offices that ignore emergencies orders for over 6+months, warehouse controls that are at best suggestions that the teamester will ignore more often then not, roads that will not allow you input a simple curve to follow the land mass. i wasted the better part of a weekend losing a easy mode sandbox game due to the teamester AI actively sabotaging my game to the point i outright lose in the colonial era multiple times not because i didnt have the resources but because the teamesters wouldnt move them or the dock didnt correct arribute them to the trade agreement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

West of Loathing

sell me the expansion!

sell the expansion on GOG! i will not re-buy the game on steam just to buy your expansion. stop treating GOG like a second class platform!

Party Hard

where are our updates?

devs needs to honor their customers purchases and bring GOG party hard on parity with the steam version as least in terms of patches if not in DLC.
