At first I thought this game was a point'n'click adventure and bounced off it 2 times. But then I reassesed my assumptions and played it like an RPG with possible fail states, and my god it's so much better for it. This isn't just searching for solution, but actual role-playing. And immediately I grew in love with the game.

Couple weeks ago I was complaining to my friends about not being able to pick up Gabriel Knight 1 talkie version anywhere. I really wanted to dive into the story again, but I couldn't find it. I browsed GoG in search for it but to no avail. Imagine my surprise when I got the mail saying that they added it to catalogue! Great story, deep, rich world and amazingly written characters (with wonderful voice acting). The feel of mythical New Orlean is incredible, and any fan of occult investigations (hello, Hellblazer fans!), will gladly dive into the story. There is only slight problem, as per standard with old Sierra adventure games, keep in mind to keep tons of different save games, because you can get stuck or die. While this is annoying, it's totally overshadowed by quality of the game and with full confidence I award this title with 5 stars, and leave my desk in search of my credit card, so I can buy it :). Keep up the great job, GoG!

This game is tactics fan dream come true, with TONS of missions, sidequests, strategy and most importantly - awesome combat. With this game released X-COM finally got a rightful heir to the throne. PS: Patch 1.13 is a must! It adds so much awesome stuff (like fighting during lightning storm) that you HAVE TO install it.

After mediocre 2k3, Epic decided to feed the faithful fans of the series with this awesome update. Fixed all 2k3's shortcomings and made it into a game that we all know and love. Arena shooters don't get much better than this. M-M-M-MONSTER KILL.
