A DirectDraw error keeps the game from launching. The usual steps to fix such issues do not help.

Christ. Every game on GOG.com receives five stars. Every goddamn one. This is not a five-star (perfect, flawless, sublime) game. It's not a four-star (really, really good, superior to most) game. It's a three-star (perfectly adequate, it works as advertised) game. It's fun, in a predictable and buggy way. And it's cheap. It's almost a two-star (poorly designed, unoriginal, not worth the price) game, seeing as it's very buggy and has terrible voice acting. At least it's not a one-star (steer clear, complete and utter waste of time and money) game.
Fantastic game, as far as I can remember. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify this as the game does not appear to want to run on Windows 7. I contacted support about it two days ago, still no reply...
