I really enjoyed this point-and-click game. The premise was fun and there are many pesky cats hiding in plain view that I missed. I liked that the rooms had requirements before you could enter them (number of cats, keys, snacks). The game took me about two hours to complete. Overall very fun and I can see myself coming back to play this again in the future since I'm sure I'll forget where most of the cats are hiding. My favorite part was how the devs had their own cats as characters in the game.
A visually beautiful game that tells a story through pictures and not words. It was a new kind of puzzle game that involved moving the pieces around the board and zooming in/out to make scenes match. It took me just under two hours to complete. I felt this was a good length for a puzzle game that allowed me to finish it without getting so frustrated I didn't want to come back.
I had an absolutely good time playing this game. It's easy to figure out, low stress, and the fact that you get to play a raccoon sucking up the entire town in to a hole is fun in itself. I think this would be a good recommendation for children to play, since the puzzles aren't too difficult and as I stated before you get to play a raccoon!! As other reviewers stated, it can be played in an afternoon, but that was part of the appeal for me. You get to meet different residents of Donut County, all who are a delight, and complete the game within a day. I enjoyed the game mechanics, the art, the music, and the writing. I also liked the fun texting segments between characters. The game will take most people less than two hours to complete. It is up to the buyer to decide if the price is worth the play time, but I believe a fun time will be had by all.
