Escape Goat 2

As good (or even slightly better) as pt1

I don´t know any reason to not love this game. Get it (and part one) and enjoy puzzle platforming at its best.

Escape Goat

Nothing to dislike!

I simply love this game. The puzzles and the platforming is both demanding but never unfair. The graphics feel classic and the pixel art is well done, i am always unsure if i like this look better than the more modern and polished second part (which is as amazing as part one, by the way). One of the best games that crossed my way in recent years. It could have been an Amiga game from the early 90s, nonetheless it feels original.

Stardew Valley

Most lovely game i know

I was looking for a game my daughter can play, most Jump´n´runs are to fast for her, she does not like fighting or weapons (Mario Kart is something she loves, at least). So i was glad that i found this for her to try out. And what can i say? Her older brother also started to play and love it, the same happened to me. It´s simply the best gaming experience i had in years. In the meantime i married and have a kid, still not finished the desert temple, but i will... I think this game is good for everyone looking for something like it and even more for the people who would never think that running a farm in a 16bit village while adventuring, fishing and flirting is the best thing to do.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

Not great but good

As a fan of the first one i hesitated to play this after reading the many comments on large rooms with unfair formations and bugs. They were right. The second one is designed differently, many levels can only be beaten after several rounds of practice, learning the patterns and places of the enemies (which can often not be seen as the area is even too wide to be overseen with shift). I stopped playing, would have given 2 stars. A year later i picked it up again. Now knowing what awaits me was more fun. The first one was a greater experience, but learning the levels and working on your performance, getting further with every try is also fun, just a different (maybe more oldschool) one. The story-snips are interesting and dramatic, but sometimes also a bit unconnected and maybe told too vague. Graphics and music are as good as part one. All in all it´s a good game, 3,7/5 (rounded to 4). Worth playing if you are stress resistant and prepared for many unforeseeable deaths.

LIMBO

Was and is a little masterpiece

Enough has been said about this game. It came out at the end of the first wave of "new indie games" and hit me hard back then. Replayed the beginning recently and it has lost nothing of it´s magic in the meantime. I would say every player should have been through this, it´s a trip you won´t forget so soon.
