Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

Buy If You are Interested In Multiplayer

The single player experiece is exactly the same as in the Diamond edition of this game, but this game was never about its single player campaigns, it was about the online community of player created content and online servers. In the DE, connecting to multiplayer servers was a hassle and extremely buggy. The return of the master server list fixes this, allowing casual players who maybe intersted in muliplayer connect easily to try out a server. This alone is worth the price. Purchasers should view the EE as an update for 1.69 and continued support from a compay that truly cares about the title. Backwards compatability for everything on the vault is a plus as well as the re-release of three premium Bioware modules that were lost in time. A person does have to pay extra for these, however, if they are already owned for the orginial game, they will work in the EE. Graphical updates would be nice, and the company is allegedly working on them, however they are considered years away and shouldn't sway a person to purchase this game. If you are not interested in multiplayer and you already have the DE game in your library (probbably for free as it was given out a couple years ago), then you can give this game a pass. But if you want to roleplay or experience an MMO atmosphere using 3.5 D&D rules it is worth a purchase.
