I bought Battle Brothers when it was first released and bounced off it pretty hard. I came back to it in 2025 after playing Wartales and bought all the expansions and have been playing it non stop for days now. Once it gets it's hooks into you it's fantastic.
I have owned the diamond edition for quite a while and have played mostly single player and have fun. The enhanced edition is worthwhile if you want NWN to run without having to play with compatibility settings. I bought the EE edition as I have it on an android tablet and like playing in bed. With the EE edition on PC I can transfer my save back and forth with Google drive and play on the desktop and tablet. If you enjoyed the base edition there's no reason you won't like the EE as it's the same game just with some under the hood tweaks and fixes.
