Solasta: Crown of the Magister

Lots of fun

The combat system is super fun and kinda addictive, it kept me hooked for hours. The plot isn't too deep but it's fun and also kept me interested. Also, unlike most other games where you create a whole party, Solasta manages to give them personalities by way of backgrounds and personality traits, so my adventurers were actually fun! Plus, the game supports community-generated campaigns, so once I finish the DLC, I'll just install some mods off the Nexus. Awesome stuff overall, I definitely recommend it.

Neverwinter Nights: Pirates of the Sword Coast

Regardless of the Beamdog controversy...

...this is a good module that does something different with the plot and mechanics. My fave among the premium modules for sure.

Tyranny - Standard Edition

Critical bug ruined awesome game for me

Right off the bat - I love Tyranny. The story is great, the world is really interesting, the choices you make really matter. I love the music, the mechanics, the esthetics - just about everything. Awesome game. That's why I was really ticked off when, halfway through Act II, I hit a critical bug that corrupted all my saves. Apparently the bug has been known to the devs since at least January, but still isn't resolved as of May: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/save-file-corruption.996868. I really wish someone had told me about it before I'd dropped $$$ on a game I might not ever be able to finish (it seems kind of stupid to start with a new character if I'm very possibly going to get the same bug again in another 15 hours). So, buyer beware - the game is good, but the bugs are BAD.
