Nothing like The Longest Journey. It's dreamfall all right, only the dream got broken into millions of unrecognisable pieces. Stealth, fighting... obviously made for casual and console players in mind. It's the best way of stomp on The Longest Journey franchise. Perhaps it is good as a standalone game (though I think it is NOT), but it's definitely a worthless P.OS. as a sequel. A typical case when the developers bring in new elements and 3D just to reach a bigger customer base, and with it they sacrifice the game. The stealth parts are very annoying, same as the fighting parts, one wants to rip out one's hair, and wonders why the hell they made such dumb scenes. An then one realises that it's not made for adventure players but console- and casual-players.
It is definitely the best sci-fi rpg ever made. Probably the best isometric rpg ever made too, except Planescape Torment.
