I agree with the good reviews in terms of game design, story, atmosphere, etc. However, technical problems have ruined the experience for me. Not only does the game run poorly, but after playing for about 8 hours I realized that my quest line is in a broken state. I'd rather not restart the game so I'm just going to uninstall it and forget that I ever bought it.
