While successfully replacing many of the mechanics and gameplay of Caesar IV, the devs somehow managed to make Caesar IV look even better. Was development outsourced to non-Western developers or something? If you're looking for a Caesar reboot, just replay Caesar IV. Don't waste your money.
Fun game all-in-all. Until you get to later game at least. Is this game still under development? I'm at the point where all floors are available, and when an enemy comes in, they just wreck everybody and takes 30 minutes to kill one mob. Is this a feature or a bug? Also a lot seems to hang on the dark elves in the torture chamber, which requires constant checking to torture and get them out & happy. Is there a way to default it to do that without manual intervention?
