Great Idea Poorly Executed

For what would have been a beautiful game is hampered in every aspect by lack of care and detail. After watching the trailer I was excited to play this because an open world island jumping and crafting survival sandbox game looked really cool. I would have given it more stars but if I'm being honest here the developers showed no interest in creating a finished product. I'm not sure what it becomes later on in the story, but it starts as a linear experience. It has permadeath that makes you restart at the very beginning and lose hours of progress after a few mistakes or usually the broken battle mechanics. The only thing good about this game is the crafting. But getting the required ingredients for recipes and objectives is a huge pain. Most of the time the creature(s) you are required to fight is impossible with what is currently at your disposal. Overcoming a difficult enemy would normally be fun if it didn't require you to cheese most battles by standing on a rock out of reach as you wack them and step back to safety. You don't have a choice because the dodge mechanic is useless and most beasts can kill you in a few hits. The biggest letdown of this game is how bad the fighting controls are. Most of the time my attacks would miss or go through the enemy doing no damage and give the enemy an attack of opportunity. It will happen multiple times in a row. After dying this way enough times I uninstalled. Most attacks cannot be made without locking in the target, like ranged attacks. Ranged attacks are very rng because the animals will jump out of the way and waste your ammo. They require way too many crafting supplies and don't do enough damage to be effective. When you are locked in battle stance you cannot run. Most beasts will run away as you try to hit them, forcing you to get out of battle stance and chase after them across the island. Making the fight a waste of time and energy.

Hitman: Codename 47

Horrible controls, impossible targeting.

Someone needs to remake this game and fix alot of things. Like adding a checkpoint system or an ability to skip mission intros so it loads directly. The controls are horrible. Selecting anything is a chore. When switching to the sniper case, if I accidentally select it I have to wait and go through the entire setup before I'm allowed to pack it up and move to the spot I want. Using the sniper is next to impossible. I can't even line up a shot. When looking down the sights it has this unrealistic up and down breathing motion. If I could turn it off the game would probably be better. Looking over ledges with the sniper, makes it look like they're 5 feet tall and you're only allowed to put your nose over, greatly limiting your view of the shooting area. Bullets seem to have a mind of their own. Guns have less accuracy than a paintball gun. I was expecting a strategy shooter where stealth and accuracy are key. But the very mechanics of the game make either impossible. Even after watching a walkthrough of the first mission I still couldn't do it. All it takes is a single sniper shot. I uninstalled after it forced me to miss over a dozen tries. Being patient and attempting to line up my shot wasn't going to work.

Agent A: A puzzle in disguise

Exploration Puzzle Game Done Right

I have this game purchased on Android as well. The story and graphics are well done. The puzzles are not too hard and are well thought out.

Project Zomboid

Still needs work.

Thank goodness this is still in development. The controls feel bulky and wont respond properly sometimes. The menu system is horrible and gets in the way. When its open it covers a good part of the page and sometimes you cant close it in time because clicking on the zombie is more priority but the inventory covers up the click area so you die. I don't like that the graphics are in 2D even though they look 3D. When I am facing an odd angle I cannot reach or hit the target. This feels buggy. This also makes some things unreachable. I would like the ability to climb over stuff. I don't know what half of the skills are or what they can be used for. When reading the game speed should auto adjust so you dont have to change it yourself. Another suggestion id putting self defence books or weapon reading material for attacking or defence. I like that if you are at a container with craftable materials it will give you the recipe. It's annoying when some of the things won't tell you how you can use them in game. The mechanics don't give you the ability to know what your character is able to do with items. But I dont like it when it unequips my weapon in order to do certain things. I have seen a vehicle blocking the only door to a house. When I try to jump onto the vehicle and go in after opening the door from the side it wont let me. Overall it looks promising but I almost regret buying it at this stage.

Sacred Gold

Amazing game with bad difficulty scaling

I used to play this game for hours and weeks until each time the difficulty got too much. I loved the part where you can find and kill dragons. Some of the aspects that bothered me is how quests are layed out and some are time based. There is one quest you can get early on that is impossible to get to because you have to run all the way to one end of the map cross the river and go all the way back to find the location. There are also other game breaking bugs which making some quests unplayable, like a door not opening when the correct thing should have triggered it.

Absolver

Can't Wait For More!

Some people need to loosen up. The game seriously just got released, f you dont have anything constructive to say then don't bother. I beat the game in 12 and a half hours. Im sure they are working on more content and a better pvp module. There are also still bugs and glitches that need to be fixed, they are working on it. If you want to be productive then you should join the forums and post what you want to see changed or added within the game.
