Magrunner: Dark Pulse

It grew on me

I didn't think a puzzle game would interest me but it was free and I downloaded it. Now I have heard of portal and heard it is very similar to this. Maybe I should have listened to the hype about these types of games. At first I only played a little bit getting through the first few levels which is basically tutorials. From that first impression it looked like that would be it, just bland looking levels with puzzles using boxes and platforms while becoming more difficult. The simple fact that it becomes more difficult intrigued me though to continue through to the main story. You'll know when you get there because of the change in setting. It might just be my laptop that can't process some of the techanical aspects which makes the graphics look only decent and game speed a little slow but it doesn't stop me from trying to get to the end. I recommend it to anyone who likes first-person perspecive and puzzle games.

Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition

This is the one

Classic game with varied game levels. You have to figure your way out of the levels through hordes of aliens. Either through classic means or hidden means. With higher difficulty comes more enemies and less ammo to waste. If you have played this without cheats and finished it on highest difficulty, then you're likely able to figure out anything in this game. It doesn't disappoint, you're an action hero with guns at your disposal. Finishing gives you a sense of accomplishment because it can beat you up at times and you'll have to reload that save file.

Treasure Adventure Game

Just some fun but not long

The world, story, and difficulty might be small but it's a good nod to old games. As you progress through you'll pick up upgrades for your boat and work through some puzzles. Probably recommend for young kids but I wouldn't mind a sequel that's bigger and more difficult.
