This game was really treated unfairly since it had a monumental task of living up to the original while the developers were fighting with their original publisher. Unfortunately it didn't live up to FEAR 1 but it was still a pretty good game. Single player was solid though short and the multi was by the books, but both modes still provided a good experience that didn't deserve the hate it got.
