It's got the open world of the old Ultima games, the humor of Monty Python, an interesting story, and controls that are simple to use.
It's much more on the casual side, so if you are looking for an action game, you may want to give it a miss.
I loved this game back in the day. The announcements at the beginning of each round really make if feel like you are watching the War of the Lance unfold.
The graphics and sound are superb as is the story line which reminds me a lot of the effort put into the old Gold Box games which, to me, are the - no pun intended - gold standard of D&D/AD&D gams.
