Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ Game of the Year Edition

Not all that..

either you do well and just mop up, or you lose your first fight, your enemy gets stronger while you get weaker and then they run you into him again and again.. effectivly getting mopped up yourself (99.99% of the time). this is really not worth all the hype, I forgot why I never bothered with it more than a few minutes on steam, now I remember..

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Digital Deluxe Edition

good game, but original is better.

The game is pretty descent but it crashes on me quite a bit. hard to stay into a game when you find yourself restarting over and over, been like this since the day of release in my experience (release of the EE not the original). I really enjoyed the infnite dungeon add on but the rest were kind of blah (boring) IMO. The developers are a real POS's, don't go to the website and complain or ask for help or anything else, they will ban you, they hate their customers.. besides, it is more cost effective for a corporations tech support if they can block you from accessing it to begin with.. let me point out, as a paying customer it should never be that way, is a pretty unacceptable thing really. considering this version will work the same as the old one, and the old modules are easy to hack and install for free (the premium ones), your probably better off with the original non EE version, i think it crashed less anyways.

This War of Mine

As bad as the android version..

whats worse is they never fix stuff when it goes sour on their end, which is why i stopped doing business with these guys actually. They (the developers) are not even smart enough to realize that $1.99 as DLC on an android version of this game would cost them more in the future, like a complete lack of sales from users that would be the most likely to buy from them in the future, they don't seem to care. I have been expressing to them how their DLC is unavailable offline in the android version, and how the people at Kalypso fixed the same thing and who to speak with there to figure it out, they have not taken any time to look into it. with the save bug on the PC version I guess I should point out that the fad that this game was, is now over. 11 bit studios should be renamed to "two bit studios" (1+1=2..) because that's what they are in truth, they do not even work to fix their errors, and after you bought it, it's on you. Best advice, avoid 11 Bit studios games entirely, here and on the Google Play Store / IOS store. God knows they don't care about their users experience, they just want your money, and once they have it they care even less. You can reach out to them and after YEARS the things you reach out to them about, will still not be fixed, though they will make more DLC and BS to sell you, for a non-right working title, and DLC that will not work properly either.

Astrox Imperium

10 minutes in and i am bored..

starts with a bunch of tutorials that may or may not make sense to you (especially if you chose a career involving mining in the first part) if you made choices that null and void whats being said, and eventually it sends you off to mine your first rock, tells you to undock first but not how, i am stuck there. wish i hadn't bought this.

Rebel Galaxy

I really liked this one..

And when I got tired of the actually quite awesome soundtrack i changed all the tracks to all of monster magnets stuff and marauded all of the known galaxy.. was a blast. love that you can put whatever music you want in there to play, randomised and set to different things. (at port music, combat music, exploring tunes etc.. differnt parts of the game, different playlists, Monster Magnet was TOO perfect for this one for me.

Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition

Nice try but..

I gotta agree with the guy that said "Balder's Meh". After a few levels you run out of stuff to do, where as Baldur's Gate you have the black pits and can continue, in this game you just kinda run into a wall of nothingness around level 12.. if it was under 10$ with the DLC included I could see it, but not as it is, it's too much for too little.

TRON 2.0

Might be a great game, never played it.

gog.com/forum/general/review_of_the_month_contest_the_final_round_8f3b6 the review system here is undermined by the GOG staff and making a contest of writing reviews.

Starpoint Gemini 2

Space Truckin', Tow Truck style..

The Premise is good, the delivery of the story is not.. The fights end up being all the same, step 1, find the largest ship that you outnumber their troops with your troops, grapple, board, reinforce, set waypoint for closest freindly station and start moving that way slowly with ship in tow and guns set to auto cause you can't see behind easily, pick off stragglers on way to sell the newest aquisition. doesn't matter if your the good guy or the bad guy, this is the whole game. reminds me of rebel galaxy with rpg elements. 20 hours maybe, but most will be bored with it after that.
