The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

It's absolutely terrible

This so-called "next-gen" update is absolutely atrocious. the changes are quite literally negligible and the new fancy-pants ray-tracing feature literally cuts your fps in more than half while providing basically no benefit. If you don't believe me, then check out before and after screenshots, do you think you'll be able to enjoy that puny "upgrade" to the visuals while you are zooming through the landscape on Roach? No, not really, right? Supposedly, the guys they initially got to work on this game basically finished upgrading the game and then cdpr took over and finished it, but what, exactly, did they finish? The "remaster" has the following mods incorporated into the game: The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project by HalkHogan HD Monsters Reworked by Denroth Immersive Real-time Cutscenes by teiji25 Nitpicker's Patch by chuckcash World Map Fixes by Terg500 The game is almost indiscernible from the previous GOTY and the ray-tracing features cut the fps more than in half and the game looks like it's been straight-up downgraded in certain places. And speaking of down-grades, I think I speak for us all when I say that we all wanted the real next-gen version of this game, the E3 version. That's literally what I've spent more than TWO WHOLE YEARS HOPING FOR! But is that what we all ended up getting? No. What we ended up getting was yet another paltry "remake" just like all the other shitty remakes the companies have put out these last 6-7 years. Why do the devs continue doing this? They all know damn well what we want and yet, they almost never deliver. Why? Well, gents, when you figure that out, do tell me as well, eh? Because I sure do also want to know the answer to that question. Until next time, boiz. Caligero out.

Not the best

Not as good as OG Unreal Tournament, but almost as good. OG Unreal Tournament is still the king, simple as.

The GOAT

It's the absolute goat, simple as. I sometimes try playing ut2k4, but I just keep gravitating back to this little guy. If something works, it works. Simple as,

STAR WARS™ Dark Forces (Classic, 1995)

Great game

It's Dark Forces, what's there to say about it that hasn't already been said, really? It's a bit dated now, admittedly, but still very playable. Download this if you want to play this in 4k: https://theforceengine.github.io/blog.html

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

Great follow-up

Great follow-up to the first hitman. While the first was extremely basic and functioned more like a glorified tech-demo at times, this seems to be more in line with what the hitman series eventually ended up evolving into. This game and the third game in the series are definitely the best ones amongst the older Hitman games, in my opinion. And if you want to play this on Win10 without any stutters or being forced to play in a crazy low resolution, then follow this guide. It will show you how to bump up the resolution to a more bearable level: https://steamcommunity.com/app/6850/discussions/0/1734342161868867679/

Poor man's morrowind

Title says it all. it's okay if you're lusting hard for that nostalgic feel of when you were 14 years old and saw this weird thing on the store shelves and thought it looked rad and then bought it with your birthday money and then proceeded to play it for a full 3 hours until you thought it was actually not that great. but a real proper remake could be pretty interesting, i guess?

Tyranny - Standard Edition

Amazing!

Title says it all, it's an absolutely amazing game. So good. In my first playthrough, I played as slightly evil/douhebaggy and that was a lot of fun, I'm gonna go through the game again and try and be as evil as I possibly can be, this time.

Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

The Champ

This is the one and only. The Champ. The Goat. The Defiler of good nights sleep everywhere. This game is the true definition of an Evergreen, and somehow is so addictive that it more or less coined the phrase "just one more turn". Even though I don't play the game very much anymore I will always reserve a top spot in my heart for this game. In this era of the remasters they should really just remaster this game, truth be told, sure, they might not have the source code anymore, but so what? Just remaster it from scratch, from the ground up. It's that good. Can't really say a lot more than what everyone else has already said, so I'll just end my review with this: If you don't own this already, CHANGE THAT AND BUY THIS GAME, BRAHH!! :D Done n' done.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura

Great old game!

I remember playing Arcanum, when I was younger, during the Fallout/Baldur's Gate years and I thought it was absolutely amazing! I'm glad that GOG finally put themselves together and released this game :D Oh, and by the way, there's an high resolution patch available to this game, it higly reccomended you try this game out with the high res patch: http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/ and here's a link for a couple of unoficial patches, mostly fixing typo's and other stuff: http://www.gamershell.com/all/arcanum/downloads.html Anyways, this is a great game, and it comes highly reccomended! :D
