Do yourself a big favor and play this game! You won't regret this decision, trust me ;)
Not much to say..You have to play this game at least once in your life.. It is simply awesome..only a couple of things may have been better imo..The save system..you can't save when you want..there are checkpoints through the game..this isn't a big problem since they give you aplenty of them..but could become annoying when you don't know where to go or what to do (but there are video walktrough on YT, if you find yourself lost)..second..some fightings really are unfair..c'mon guys..how doyou face helicopters, armored cars and boats without a serious weponry?..Good luck if you're playng on the highest difficulty levels..
The game is very good..Wonderful if you want an "old style" experience..with tons of enemies to shoot and destroy with your ship in this amazing shoot'em up..and you can upgrade and modify your battleship with tons of weapons and equipments..Now for the smaller flaws I have to talk about.. I really like the replay value of this game..but when you try to re-play it in a harder difficulty..c'mon guys!..I had to try 1 million times to pass the first level..and even on normal some levels are just unfair, with enemies that can kill you in less than a second with a single shot... If you can get this game for less than 3 $ I think it is a good deal for some hours of fun and enjoyment.
I don't know where to start.. This game simply can not stand the comparison with other WWII based games..War Chest? ..The only game that actually works on windows 10, (unless you spend many hours on support forums and such..) is MOHAA..Spearhead and Breakthrough crash at the launch..As for MOHAA..Many parts are simply unplayable..enemys that hits you from miles away with the most low-quality weapons, sometimes they are invisible and you can't tell from where they shoot you..and the game always makes auto-saves in the middle of the worst situations..like when you are swarmed by 30 german soldiers all together and you only have 10 on your life gauge..Speaking of..Even on low difficulty levels they absolutely don't give you enough medikits to progress further in the game and you have to spam quick saves and quick loads like there's no tomorrow.. this game hasn't aged well at all..do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to play a good FPS.
