Fast paced like Freelancer of old so more of a arcade shooter than a space sim. Traveling on a 2D plane in 3D space is kind of immerison breaking, but broad siding space craft like sea ships of olden times is loads of fun. The copy/paste mission selection gets a bit old. So I find this best played in short bursts. Some really nice ship models and a beautiful and colorful universe with multiple systems to see and explore. Personal custom sound tracks can be added to this game. However I really like the vanilla soundtrack, because it gives off a Firefly/Borderlands feel. Trader, mercanary, pirate, bounty hunter, miner choose to be one or choose to be all of them at any one time.
Not much game play to game on and no puzzles like the usual point and click affair. Basically this feels like a interactive movie and what a good movie this is. A griity adult take on childerns fairy tail characters that works really well. After playing and beating this I just wanted to experience more dark adventures in Fabletown.
Better voice acting, more playable characters and customizable weapons than the first game. Shame it couldn't of ended in sastifying resolution for any of the playable characters. It feels like this is a set up for a sequel that never happened, oh well.
Formulaic point click adventure with 8 bit graphic retro style, but nothing can hold down a good story in my opinion. I gave season one five stars out five, because I like how season one ended upon a teaser. I think with Last Door I was more into the journey than the destination. This season two reveals to much for me as I am a love a mystery type of person.
