Can't see much in the way of improvement when I had this on PS4 console (traded in) vs the free drop PC version. Even free and on PC it's still kind of a bad/amateur hour type of game. Oh ctrl/alt/enter to get round the resolution input menu related bug.
Cracking game back in the day and it was the closest game to The Lord of the Rings. Replayed this and beat it in 15 moves with Morkin. Winning by might of arms is the other viable option. Which leads for a longer game of hold and defend from Citadels until the counter attack. Tactically this is a simple game for sure, but I spent loads of time limiting my ways to win.
The heal won't even assign via controller or keyboard. Stuck in the tutorial room and Ican't get out due to a bug/glitch. I think the developers watched Hellrazer at some point with the art style vibe. Maybe I come back to this game and maybe not. Nothing about how to fix this issue anywhere so I'm done and moving on to the next game. As first impressions go this a one star for sure.
Beautiful eye candy shooter. Totally dripping with atmosphere. Creepy, wierd, spooky and even scary in places. Yeah it can be a bit linear and scripted, but that does help tell a tightly woven story better. Played it on Xbox, PS4 and now it has dropped free on PC on GOG. This is a long time fave for sure classic game and game series on any platform.
This one had me running around screaming like a sissy and laughing my head off like a loon. These type of games tend to be a one shot deal. Once I knew how things play out it is way less impactive on a second run, but the first run oh boy was it so exhilarating. The Outlast: Whistleblower DLC really ups the ante and improves on the base to be even more gross out scary.
Minimalistic and unchallenging gameplay. Top class voice actors, music creates a good ambience, with an interesting art style to gaze upon. What absorbing mysterious and weird little story driven adventure game this is. I get a outer limits twilight zone vibe for sure. Fans of Alan Wake might really like this sort of stuff, maybe? I got this on a free giveaway so I am not sure I would of paid the current price $19.99 and that reflects on the overall score. Cheaper at maybe half the price I might of rated it higher like 4/5. Value for money always is always one of the main deciding factors. Compare to other BIG/HUGE games I can get for $19.99 just no to this current pricing.
Found this far to stealth heavy for my liking. Avoiding combat was really the safest bet. A short quirky survival game that had great potential, but ultimately felt under developed. It was fun for a few runs until I beat the game, but replay value was and is lacking due to lack of content.
