While The Summoning is 90% RPG and 10% adventure, this game made by same authors using same engine is 90% adventure and 10% RPG. Great horror atmosphere and interesting backstory to uncover.
I really love this game and finished it several times, even tho normally i prefer TB combat. Great ideas, puzzles, surprising ending ... Old-school dungeon crawler at its best
Still to this day amazing game which was for it's time revolutionary in many ways, from gameplay itself to loot system to randomly yet still logically generated levels and mobs. P.S. Even tho it is an old game, bitching about it costing 10$ for a game that you can play and have fun with for hundreds of hours seems to me completely wacko, especially on site called Good Old Games :D
Thank you GOG, it is quite hard to make this imo great game at least playable. Do have original CD, but it would not run on today systems.
Wizardry 7 is (together with Wiz8 and Amberstar) one of my top 3 favorite CRPGs. It has great turn-based combat and amazing character progression. Compared to W8 i would say it has worse dialogue system (you can't store topics for following conversations), but it has IMO better atmosphere, riddles and dungeons.
