if i try to start multiplayer, it locks up and i have to use task manager to kill it. it is as a result single player only. buying it however enables access to the original dos version, which does have multiplayer.
apart from the first job, no other jobs can be completed and have to be canceled. unfortunately, i have seen way too many of these issues, where developers leaves their games broken.
the problem lies with the publisher rebellion which refuses to include the official patch. using the official patch still works but, then the game requires the disc afterwards.
it have one battle, after that it is game over. i am shocked at how many demos it is that is sold at full price. luigi`s mansion 2 is a one level demo. luigi`s mansion 3 is even shorter. not that those are a part of this. it is just proof that too many developers is lazy these days.
i got to the 6th level which is impossible to complete. that locks me out of the rest of the game. rescue rover 2 is not available. selecting that from the menu starts rescue rover 1.
multiplayer works perfectly, though it is very repeatative. but it is there.
i can not get coal because i can not get workers and i can not get workers because i can not get coal. there also not enough wood to both gather coal and construct buildings required for the people. too bad, because it showed a lot of potensial. it it just ruined by not enough resources available at the start.
they produce resources at half the rate of other races. their units is easily slain.
in the second mission the enemy managed to one shot my blacksmith. healing potions only heal half of what they say they do(healed 100, said 200). the enemy gets their forces earlier even on easy. i had swordsmen and some kind of archers against cannons. i never paid for it though, i just got it for some reason that is unknown to me. its lack of multiplayer also pulls down.
