LIMBO

A classic

A short and amazing puzzle game with a fantastic atmosphere and intriguing story.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker

Super chill

If you like simulator games, this is basically a space scrapyard simulator. The gameplay is genuinely fun and very satisfying. There is also a story, which, while not too impressive or engaging, serves to give you a good sense of progression and feeling of fulfillment while you play.

HuniePop

Dumb fun

This game pulls all the stereotypes out of the misogyny and racism hat, and delivers them in a goofy and stupid way that amuses you. Simple and funny.

No Man's Sky

chill space exploration

massively changed since release. there is actually a lot of stuff to do now. beware that you can't accept Twitch drops on the GOG version.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

stands the test of time

there's a reason this game got rereleased about a billion times: it's fun.

OpenTTD

The best travel tycoon game out there

Probably the best open source game out there; definitely the most polished one.

Hollow Knight

An exquisite experience

Unlike many samey platformers, this one has good and balanced combat, fun and exciting exploration and progression, an amazing soundtrack, a really cool setting, and is overall very enjoyable.

Sanitarium

Fun point & click

A fun point & click puzzle game with a cool setting.

Evenicle

Surprisingly good

The story is surprisingly thought out for an eroge game. The combat is unimpressive, simple and easy. There are some battles that pose fun challenges and break up the monotonous, repetitive fights. The writing and music is fun. Just beware that, in true Japanese eroge fashion, the game contains some very explicit scenes that some may find disturbing or even traumatic. As always, Alicesoft delivers.

Saya no Uta ~ The Song of Saya Director's Cut

Beauty in horror and tragedy

A fantastic and short visual novel with a disturbingly intriguing and unique way of presenting itself. Thank you, Gen Urobuchi!
