Games definitely not terrible, just a bit eh. All the reviews saying how great the writing is got me to give it a go. I can only assume that they are kids, cause this is far from great writing. Honestly reads like fan fiction, specifically Final Fantasy 8 fan fiction. The MC has clearly been modeled after Squall, is emo like squall, gets a face scar like Squall, has an internal monologue whining about his pain like Squall, is a jerk to everyone yet someone has friends and love interests...like Squall. Interactions feel weird and unnatural, people we just met will start soliloquizing at me like we are in a Shakespeare play. A lot of weird phrases and and incorrect references to western culture (calls jelly beans gummy bears, pepperoni pizza "salami", teenagers drinking in bars, and why are we playing inter gender basketball? don't know!), and the writer clearly has no understanding of what a university is, looks like a high school, or maybe its a community college? either way its wrong. Dudes in desperate need of a western editor to go over the script more thoroughly. Still there is some intrigue in the building romances, and its very pretty. Just don't expect a well crafted literary master piece, more like 50 shades written in Germany and run through google translate
