The Outer Worlds

Pretty much

The Outer Worlds is a very decent 3D shooter, probably one of my favourite currently. Much more so than Bethesda's counterpart: Fall Out 4, where the story does not make a whole lot of sense. The world in the Outer Worlds feels much more refined. Dialogues and story lines pull you right into the world, as it should be.

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Fall Out 4

I will keep this review short. This is a good sequel to Fall Out 3, however for me the game still has a annoying bug and that is he dialogue. The dialogue for ALL the characters in the game is flawed and not accurate. It seems this bug has a work around to change the framerate, but come on this bug should be permanently fixed by Bethesda. Anyhoo, because of this dialogue flaw I rate the game is okay- ish. Until then I will leave the review score on 3 stars, mediocre.

Hitman: Absolution

Hitman Absolution

Note: I played this game on Steam. Let me start by saying; yes, compared to the previous versions of Hitman the narrative is not as good, that said it only bothered me a couple of minutes at the start of the game though. It has more to offer. Re- playability for one. Looking at the graphics and the rest of the game, it is a real sandbox were anything can happen, and there are a lot of things to try, all with a different outcome for that mission. It is as they say: "The world is your weapon". Maybe not the best in it's series. All in all still a very decent game. If the story was more compelling and had better voice acting I would give it 5 stars.

Kerbal Space Program

Kerbal Space Program

First of all I did play the game on Steam and not on GOG. So I do not know if there are very big differences, but I agree that the game still requires a lot of work. Controls can get iffy at times, there are time compression issues, world detail issues, sometimes physics are a bit off and feel awkward. But actually despite its flaws it is still a good game and I can acknowledge that the developers put a lot of love, time and work in it. The game does not claim to be having the best physics engine and that shows in certain moments, but it is still a game and not a sim. But having said that I feel, making the game even harder will scare more people away and this is really only for people that "that like the genre" or people that love space games or are invested in this kind of games. In case you are not then this game is very likely not for you. Other than that I paid 28 euro for it and I think for this, it is quite steep for the game. In case you are still reading on and you are interested in the game. Then I have one tip for you. Buy the game, but buy it when it costs less than 10 or 15 dollar/ euro instead.
