Absolutely superb game ! The only objection I have is that it is really too short. For the price it should be much longer. Otherwise, good story, excellent graphics, breathtakingly beautiful environment, great puzzles (not to easy but not to difficult either). I did not experience any glitches, the game was running perfectly fine for me, even though my processor and graphic card are both below minimum requirements. I played on medium settings but that did not make graphics any less beautiful. I played through GOG Galaxy and my game kept being updated automatically. I am finishing the game and it was very enjoyable experience.
Like the first one in the series, this game was ridiculously short. Both games put together can hardly make one decent game. It seems to me that the creators tried to get more money by splitting one game into two. Also, the game appears to be unfinished, with no particular or logical ending, no credits, just a black screen ?! Otherwise the graphics are stunning, the puzzles (mostly) ok, and the characters believable. In both parts (games), the most likeable character was RT, the robot, so I hope if the creators consider making a 3rd game, they would include it. And then certainly NOT make it that short.
Excellent game, loved the robots, especially the main character, the RT robot, great graphics, excellent voice acting, however far too short, even for the price. You get to love the game/story so much, just to get disappointed by an abrupt ending.
Those 6 games are worth every penny, even if you buy them at their full price. The first two might be a bit old, with not perfect graphics, but they certainly have everything the other 4 have: interesting story, believable and lovable characters, excellent voice acting, great plot with a touch of humour, practical puzzles, impeccable game play (no glitches whatsoever), so if you buy the collection, get ready for a feast. Highly recommended !
This is an average game, and absolutely not worth the price. If it was in the range of 14-16 EUR then maybe. The whole (quite short for the money) game is actually only one big case, in the same house, with the same protagonists. It consist of finding clues in the same house, and interrogating the same people over and over again. And that's all ! So very boring, sadly. The mind place is displayed in very tiny letters that are almost illegible on my 24 inches screen. It could be enlarged but then you lose the whole picture. The graphics are less than average. Should have been much better with the technology that is available nowadays. Characters always dressed the same, although there is a substantial time gap of a few years between some chapters. For 30 EUR more effort should have been invested in creating it. I love Poirot and bought it in spite of many negative reviews, waited for a discount, but it was not worth even that amount of money. Sadly, it is true what majority of people say here about it. The story is good but of course Agatha Christie is to be credited for that. If you love good mystery games play Sherlock Holmes, especially the latest ones. This one has been a disappointment for me.
I loved the game and its amazing worlds that very much remind me of the 'MYST' game. Beautiful graphics, challenging (but not too difficult) puzzles, and interesting story. Very atmospheric too, thanks to its excellent ambient sound effects and beautiful music, which together with the stunning graphics, create a very attractive alien environment. The other positive is the ability to make as many saves as you want, and use them later on to visit the worlds again to either just enjoy them, or to grab some collectibles that you missed earlier. You can also use your saves to play 2 different endings, if you save the game at the right place. So I suggest that you save your game often, e.g. after finishing each puzzle. The only negative is some puzzles' interface, which makes them more difficult to solve than they actually need to be, e.g. magnetic balls puzzle in the Cave world, and creating paths in the Floating Islands world. I am looking forward to the Mysterious Journey 4. I hope we won't wait too long for it.
It is a fairly good game but far too short. It should have been at least twice as long for the money. I should have waited for the bigger discount to buy it. Should not cost more than 8 EUR. Graphics are nice if you like cartoon like characters. It is nice to be able to customize your avatar, although there should be more choices. Wait for a big discount to buy it and then you won't be disappointed.
i loved the game. great storyline, well rounded characters, a lot of suspense, you wish it lasted longer. the only objection is that it crashes quite often, so save as soon as you can. the graphics could be better, but they are not bad either. i would love to see a remake with the more advanced graphics. or even a sequel. a thoroughly enjoyable experience. i highly recommend it to all who love this type of games, especially when you can get it on discount.
unfortunately unplayable. i wanted it to work but ..... all i got was a miniature purple screen that was not even centred. a problem many players had in the past. can't imagine why creators did not fix that until now. they had plenty of time ... returned for refund.
