Zombasite

Good fusion of Din's Curse and Drox

I own this on Steam, but I own Drox Operative from here. This is basically Depths of Peril 2: Now with Zombies. For those that didn't play DoP, this is Din's Curse but with a much larger world and a Drox-styled diplomacy system. Pros: - Lots to do - Game is challenging, but difficulty can easily be adjusted - Zombies can be turned off - Hybrid Classes are just as good as in Din's Curse, though viability can still be all over the place - NPC survivors are actually useful, though how to use them can be cryptic - Moddable Cons: - Performance is still a bit iffy - Graphics are beginning to look dated (if that matters to you) - Game can seem gear-dependent, attribute-boosting gear is very much required if you want to minmax - Town attacks can be relentless, though they have been dialed back a bit in recent updates - Gold can be very useless at times Overall, if you liked Drox Operative you'll probably like this. If you liked Din's Curse you'll probably like this though the scope is much larger and somewhat suffers because of it. Otherwise try the demo and look up some gameplay. This game is easy to get lost in and spend many hours playing, but won't be to everyone's taste which is why I give it 4/5.

I wish I could give it zero

No seriously, this entire thing had been DEAD for years. It's not scary, it was never all that scary, and it certainly doesn't make for good games. Why some utter shite from indiedb like this is on GOG and not something actually good from there (there are certainly a bunch of games that qould qualify as "good") is beyond me. Here's an example, "Monsters!" was just released and is very much an arcade throwback type game. I haven't played it, but I'd much rather see something like that then some memespamming BS like this.

Hitman, except not really.

Most people will already know the concept for this game, it's basically Hitman except you're a kid with demonic powers. The problem is it lacks one of the key elements of Hitman, the ability to simply murder a target outright rather than play along with the little "perfect kill" scenarios. Game would be 4/5 if you could even use telekinesis to kill someone with glass or something, but as it stands you pretty much need a guide to beat it, since it runs on "adventure game logic".
