Game has great graphics. The plot is pretty simple, but this is not a disadvantage as we could focus more on calm ambient that could bring many joy.
I didn't imagine that I would play something that interesting. Beautiful graphics are important, for sure, but it's incredible how fascinating it could be when you discover another language, that it's not just random signs mash up together, but every other language has its own gramatic, sentence order... every moment when we successfully translate simple phrase is dopamine-full!
The second title telling story about cruelty of man, but now from different perspective. Less scary, but that was not the point of the game. Distraint 2 focuses on journey through emotions with beautiful ending. Worth it.
The Brotherhood always wants to create a game that will tell us a fascinating story in really strange world. With Beautiful Desolation, they beat themselves. Another interesting plot, good mechanic and original wolrd of futuristic Africa is remarcable. Beautiful Desolation is a point'n'click game that bring addiction, while we want to explore more and more of that. Strongly recommended.
I was really surprised hot much satisfaction this game brought. While playing in that, I was hoping to achieve the same experience while playing the true one and only Planescape: Torment. Numenera gives something different, yet mentally stimulating. Endigs are interesting, our companion group can be filled with many interesting characters. It is not definetly the Torment "2", but the effort put in this game is vissible. Not the best, but absolutely worth to play and enjoy.
