MUST research the manual online. A Rock-Paper-Scissors approach does not always work, but is generally a good approach. The graphics and music are of its age, the pixels are detailed enough to differentiate the units, and it generally has good, solid simple strategy logic behind it.

This game will test your character's sanity, endurance, speed, and luck just as it will test your common sense, decisions, and the flexibility of your thinking. I have played for a week or so now and am still finding new ways to approach problems; magic, science, or a combination of both. Planning around a farming life, constructing apiaries, and hunting wild Beefalo. Shall I play with madness or scrupulously avoid those things which bend reality and shatter my mind. It is all up to you. Survive or don't, the game doesn't care.
