Big fan of builder/management sims, this one is very solid. Don't know about late game specifics yet but performance and function is super solid despite EA, mechanics are fun and tricky. No-brainer.
Smooth design, everything makes good sense and looks/sounds great. Love these types of games and this one is near the top.
Don't let the graphics fool you, this is SOLID. I've played quite a few of these management simulators and this one is near the top in terms of competence of design. The combat, if you're worried, seems necessary but can be controlled from an abstract level so you aren't needing to click like it's Diablo. Bonus - music is grindy metal which perfectly fits slaughtering forest bandits for their meat. Buy now.
Runs fine even without modernization, and there's added content if you're into that.
