NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound

A love letter to the OG Ninja Gaiden

A tight platformer, harsh but somewhat fair.

Devil May Cry HD Collection

Not a great port

Games are great, not much to say. But this port is bad. I tried the first game and it's locked at 1080p/60fps with vsync on. I have a 2k/144hz monitor and it's causing all sort of issues starting with awful screen tearing that I can't seem to get rid of. I tried to tinker for a while but ended up refunding the bundle as it was unplayable. I expected better from the so called Preservation Program.

A Plague Tale: Innocence

Grim but captivating

I'm really liking the story so far, the game is well written with intersting character and the world of Plague Tale despite its general unpleasantless and cruelty is interesting to discover. The game runs pretty well too. Recommended!

No Man's Sky

A fresh start: 1.3 update review.

One year later, this game is a very different experience. The updates improved almost every aspect of the game (even those previously left unfinished) while mantaining the original formula. Yes, at launch this game was unplayable, especially on PC. And yes, I agree, you can't really call NMS a game, it is indeed a space opera simulator. But now the game is completely playable and has a better optimization (in my case, AMD Radeon Settings helped me fix some AA and AF issues). And now I am hooked. Can't stop exploring planets and losing myself in an ocean of stars. I won't defend Hello Games, their launch product was a fraud. But please, keep in mind that they worked hard on a game whose reputation is, even now, dead and buried for a whole year, and these updates are free. They could have behaved like Bioware, abandoning the project. They didn't, and the results are here. I do think NMS is now worth every penny you spend on it and I hope my money can help Hello Games to keep up the good work.

Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut

Unplayble

FPS capped at 10, at best. Completely unplayable, requires modding. Vanilla game is not an option, don't waste your money. Buy the PS3 versione instead, game itself is brilliant.
