This must be one of my all time favorite games. It made a large impact on me when I was finally able to play through it after its PC release, having been waiting for it since I watched a gameplay series of the game on youtube. I wished I could have bought it DRM free at the time. Its GOG release struck me by much the same surprise as its PC release. The game will not be for everyone. It is very much cinematic heavy, and some will even call the graphics outdated. At this time I cannot give any more constructive review, other than telling you that if those two things don't scare you away, then play it. I will no doubt be replaying it very soon.
I really wish it had been better but it is not so. The game plays like a beautiful looking first demo of a puzzle game. Problem is, the devs then forgot to make the rest of the game. If I had to guess they made the first two mechanics of the game, then kind of just ran out of ideas. Lucky for them they found some bugs with how they implemented them, and it is now your job to find those bugs, as they are needed to solve the puzzles. I got completely stuck on the last puzzle the first time I tried, There was no possible way of doing, I thought. Then a month or two later I powered through the game again to try and solve it, only to give up once more. At this point I tried to look for the answers online, but I guess so few actually managed to get through this game that there was no record of the solutions on the internet. After going back I thought to myself "This is a dumb game, the solution is probably dumb. What could I do that would be dumb?". Long story short I solved it and then found out that was the end.
