Not nearly as clever or funny as Lucas Arts games. The plot is like a mediocre episode of a Saturday- morning cartoon, except a bit more horny. The visuals and voice acting are nice, although main character could use more lines for his reaactions. There's no fast walk option so it can get tedious.
Game doesn't fully utilize the potential of 3d graphics. Camera never gets close to characters or objects. It looks nice though,. Some moon logic and too much walking back and forth. Option to highlight clickable objects was useful, without it it's easy to miss some things. Slow, bluesy soundtrack creates chill atmosphere. The tone is not too serious and the game throws in some meta-jokes. It's not very long. Puzzles for the most part aren't too hard,
Improvement over the previous game (The Case of the Silver Earring), not as good as some of the later installments. Some bad acting and animations and awkward dialog. Storywise it's a mishmash of ideas. It's fairly long. I would give it three stars, but there's a bug that prevents players from saving sometimes, which is frustrating. So save often.
