The devs did an EXTREMELY good job turning this tabletop game into a PC version. Gorgeous graphics and soundtrack, and fabulous gameplay system. The various options for playing vs AI or live against other people is great. Overall a delightful, relaxing yet challenging game. I'd be extremely keen to purchase DLC if they ever wanted to digitize the expansion packs as well.
Rather than most of the farming RPGs I've played, the gameplay experience here reminds me much more of the House Flipper games. The main game mechanic is repetetive clicking. This has it's place in the gaming world, but a proper tool/action menu more like in the House Flipper series would definitely be of benefit to this game. The controls need some serious fine-tuning, it can be extremely hard to target what you're actually aiming to select. Plus the driving... ugh. As other reviews have mentioned, the dialog can get extremely Uncanny Valley, and the human models could definitely use some work on their motions. The lack of customization is also a downside for me. I don't thik I'll be spending much more time playing this, and I'm very glad I bought it for 70% off. If I'd paid full price I would have been livid at how unfinished this game feels.
