Punishing roguelite, that feels as much about managing inventory as fighting, with you in a constant state of dropping items for other items as you consider what's more important to keep on you or bring back to the ship. It does have some major concerns right now, like the goofy spike in story mission difficulty, and getting locked into stealth mode for getting an enemy's details or changing facing, as well as minor gripes. Regardless I'm instantly hooked on the gameplay loop, and am more than ready to see what gets added by release time.
Plays like a modern X-COM game, but without the conveniences. No "undo move", unclear line-of-sight, the card system doesn't really alter your play, it's not clear about what you're about to choose to do during various parts of the story, it's not even visible which tiles are actually lit and which are in shadow. But the story is interesting enough, and the gameplay is competant enough to be fun. Worth my time to play, but quite forgetable.
