Simple and beautiful underwater game. Really nice storyline, a big and pretty sea underworld with a lot of things to do. Easy to play and doesn't require a lot of thinking. Many side missions, achivements and places to explore. I love the fact that you 'help' the ecosystem with removing garbage, oil, etc.. but at the same time you work for a mean oil company and do some dirty work - really reflects the real world and how much damage we are doing to the planet. Also shows some mental challanges of the main protagonist that reflect on some real issues. Even tho you face some serious things thru the game, the music and the ocean (or should I say graphics and the desing) set the mood just right at any moment. Combination of those two is amazing, especially if you are cruising with the whales in your sub. (At some moments, the vibe reminds me on SOMA, in a good way) The storyline does it's thing in the combination with everything else. As always, expect some good thing, bad things and plot twists. Last 15 minutes of the game felt really tense and good, giving you a worthy ending. As a sea lover, this game hits a 10 out of 10 for me. All the elements are really making a great combination.
Just the idea of flying a giant falcon in the middle of nowhere is great enough ! Played with a mouse, 13h main storyline. Super easy to control, you get used to it after a few seconds - just watch your turning sensitivity. Great storyline thru the wast of the ocean, with historic relics, cliff carved cities and various enemies. Interesting and pretty game for an advanturer. Only two minuses: 1 - it's a shame the DLC isn't included in the original, I feel like the DLC is a bit too pricy for what you get - probably worth to get on discount; 2: at the beginning doesn't seem like it, but the game is pretty much war-based - if there were a few more nicer missions, it would raise the overall 'wow' from the game
I never knew how much this game will suprise me. The storyline is definitly a new thing - mysterious yet exciting, keeps you interested until the end. The ambient is amazing, personally I am a sea lover - the combination of technology and walking on the sea floor - while being in danger of both, just wow. Gameplay is challanging - don't have to be the smartest, but you will use your brain at times, and sometimes walk around a lot, and sometimes repeating the same level again and again and again because you keep dying. At times, I would compare it with Prey which I enjoyed even a bit more. Try this game, you won't regret it. Idk why didn't I made the review right after the gameplay.
I think if you like complex storylines it is a game for you. You should not expect a lot of action or shooting. It is an exploration game, and if you don't like it you should not play. If you like Lovecraft, play it. XOXO
First thing that you notice - are the in-game colorful beauties of nature, followed by the music. Second is the storyline - at the beginning, a pretty insteresting story as you just start to discover everything. But be aware, the story later starts to turn into a emotional rollercoaster with a pretty satisfying ending to me. Third, the animals - it takes a few seconds to catch up with the controls of certain animals, but after that you enjoy every run, flight or dive with a good choice of wonderful animals. Overall - there is a lot of pretty nature to explore thru this decent storyline, with some fun collectibles along the way. At certain points, I feel like the storyline could be a little more better. The running around the map is also a bit tiring in certain parts of the story. My personal best in the game - pretty nature and animals, I didn't find the storyline too interesting. If you love running and exploring pretty nature and animals with a simpe storyline, this game is for you.
Best game ever ! I really wanted to play something fun and chill - and wow, this game really does it. Fun main character, simple adventures, friendly guests and intarface, smooth music, easy storyline filled with creative missions, and let's not forget the great cartoonish graphics ! This game made me so happy, and I don't get that often from other games.
