If you can get past the complete (and I mean total) unlikeability of the main character you will find moderately entertaining puzzles that will become hard only when they make absolutely no sense at all. They are either standard adventure game puzzles or so completely devoid from logic that you might as well randomly try things or look up the answer play through guide because the answer will make no sense. The story telling is OK. But it is severely hampered by the main character being a complete, utter, and unrepentant moron. Though I suppose you'd have to know you were a moron to repent for it and he is too dumb to realize it. He is also just plain mean. Not in a comedic way either. The qte events are also very annoying. Other than the qte events everything I mentioned also applies to the other games in this series. The visuals are OK, the sound and music are nice but everything else is junk.
A nice adventure game with two problems. 1. The logic of the puzzles is very bizarre at times. 2. The 'protagonist' is a d**k. Which is fine, for a while. But apparently the whole point of him is to be a d**k and nothing but a d**k. After 4 games he never stop being a d**k. He never changes, never grows, never learns a lesson (for more than 10 minutes), never becomes a character it doesn't feel slimy to control. Problem 1 is something I can deal with. Problem 2.... the only reason I finished the series is that I got it at all at one time and I hate to leave something unfinished. A 3.5-4 star game ruined by the main character.
