Resident Evil

Runs fine with an important issue

For me on my first time running this version the game starts up and runs fine EXCEPT the character select keeps spinning indefinitely whether I have a controller plugged in or not and when finally in the game it controls fine .... again EXCEPT I can't access the character inventory. I've tried everything. Rebinding both koyeboard and controller, trying different keyboards and controllers, etc. Everytime I press the Sub Menu/Inventory button it takes me to the rebind options page instead. Essentially making the game unplayable. If anyone knows of a fix for this I'd love to hear it.

Epic Tavern

7 years of early access? No thanks.

This "Game" has been in early access since 2017 when it was "released". I think its safe to say that it's a dead game. If it's still in early access 7 years later and getting such poor reviews it's not worth even looking at sadly.

No Man's Sky

A good base. Not a full game.

No Man's Sky is a good base for a game but it is most certainly no where near being a fully finished product. The game needs at least 2 more years of development time and serious work. There is very little in the game itself and the performance and bugs make it a pain to play. With this base build of NMS you will explore randomly generated planets that are all the same because the tile pool it pulls from is too small in variety. Same with all the flora and fauna. Like a lego set with too few bricks. You will mine, mine and mine some more. There is nothing to do with these resources except keep your ship and upgrades fully charged and making more upgrades. You can't "Build" anything. Not structures, not new ships, not decorative things. You can't even rename your ship or it's appearance. The game has potential but it was pushed out the door far too early and with very little to it. If you want to buy NMS go ahead but I advise you to wait a couple of years and then look at it again. Assuming ofcourse that any updates are made to the content of the game itself. It may not. We shall see. Final thoughts: NMS is an early access game that isn't early access and a full price of £50. DO NOT BUY... yet. Date written: 17/08/2016
