Steep learning curve, for sure, but a lot of replayability. You can't complain too much because it's really an official mod (so is my understanding), but it would be nice to go from 1914 straight through to 1953 or something like that. Paradox is awful, though: make a complete game and sell it to me once, you infuriating, lamentable company.
I good game, similar to Into the Breech, Bionic Dues, Paradoxes Battletech, etc. I'm about a quarter to a third way through the game, but I've already seen all the maps. That being said, the new missions on the old maps have new objectives, so that adds a nice layer of replayability. Spending game money on cosmetics seems like such a waste to me, but it's less of a waste than spending real money, which is not what this game asks of you. It does make you spend a lot of your time at it, I have been playing for 12 hours straight. For two days. Why ony three stars? Because I can't give three and a half. It just needs a few more weapons, a a bit more gear, but that's really it. Great laugh.
Ted Kord got so angry with gog.com that he threw a lamp and it shattered, making it unusable, even for scrap. It's too bad that that this game has the very characters you are using playing against you. If this game had the characters act like the characters in FTL, then it would be a stellar game. At the very least, you should have an option where you can turn off bad relationships just like you can turn off the damage caused by aforementioned relationships. It is too frustrating to be fun.
