I decided to try this game for a bit to see if it's worth playing and oh boy it gets addictive. A quick run turns into an hour and a half long run before I even realise it! My only regret is not starting to play this earlier and I am looking forward to playing the sequel.
I cannot start a new game as I immediately encounter a crash.
This game feels more like a demo. It has no "soul", just a husk of what it could have been. The only good things are visuals and SFX. It's worth like 20 euros. Story is a mess. You don't make any real decisions until the very end of the game where you get to choose one of the endings. Nothing you do has any sort of impact in the world. Crafting is awful, you need to manually craft 1 item everytime you want to create consumables. AI is almost non-existent. You cannot change your apearance after creating your character, not even a haircut. The game could have been much more, a lot of the content was removed for the rushed release.
I really tried to enjoy the game, but it's not my type. Everytime you start the game you will start with nothing. You'll have to work for everything you've achieved in a previous run again. The gameplay is smooth, very responsive and enjoyable graphics. The items you find or buy are quite fun and useful. I am not saying this is a bad game for everyone, but it is not a game for casual players.
