Like Archolos this is better (and in my opinion FAR better) than the game it was based on. It has trees! Flowers!! It's not just a miserable winter wasteland from top to bottom! Man the dialog was expansive, but at least it was for a well constructed story. I hate dragons as a villain (it's like making the bad guys bears, or elk. I just don't feel it) but I love the villain of this one. The villain is YOU! Nah... I mean I guess you could play as the bad guy but that's not what I mean
I think this is made by the people who did Enderall, anyway both are examples of mods that fix the flaws of the game they were based on. Man I hate the leveling system, everything else was great. And I learned some Polish!
THought maybe I'd like it because I don't need my RPG to be fully action packed to be worth playing, taking the reviews with a grain of salt, but man. Maybe you REALLY LOVED 3 and wanted to revisit your favourite places? Well it's not that either. I don't know why this is. If you loved Gothic 3, like on a level where you can't stop playing it and were looking for a way to never want to play it again, y'know like something to snap you out of it, this is the cure. WHY IS THIS?!?
Well perhaps its unfair to review this against Fallout 4 as I already didn't like Fallour 4, but if we start with that game being frequently unpleasant, then this can be better or worse. Other fan Mods like Enderal did make huge improvements on the original game (Skyrim in that case). This one just took the base game and made it lesser. I appreciate it's a huge task and I expect they did a great job with the customization (couldn't have been much worse than Boston?!? Lots of neat places in the world, why that??) but soooo much of it is next to nothing. Most buildings inaccessible, the handful that are offer little reason to go in, and very very little loot and stuff to find in the wild, which was what made Fallout 4 playable. If you like the aesthetic of neverending garbage piles then this game (as well as all fallouts) are for you. So far I haven't seen any survivalcraft except in "your" place which is indoors and nobody else lives there so why? But I also HATED that aspect of 4 so that's cool. Also load times are awful, and crashes often. Maybe that's me? But 4 didn't have this much trouble
