This is, nearly as I can tell, a barebones SNES emulator and ROM image of the game in a single convenient package. The game itself is an enjoyable fantasy adventure, not terribly deep but fun. Fine value for the price if you are unable to play the original SNES version legally. I wish someone had been able to add a few quality of life tweaks; the fact that one of your main weapons cannot hit short enemies unless they're in the middle of a jump is irritating, since you have to go into the menu and switch back to the sword to hit them reliably.
This game is one of my all-time favorites. The primary campaign isn't exactly earth-shattering, but the expansions and the absolutely mind-boggling array of downloadable free user-created content make this one very, very much worth the money. Sure, the engine is showing its age, but it does what it does very well indeed.
